As I drop into the sea of despair I wonder if there is a reason to care I reach I touch I squirm at what I find Reaching through deep waters Striking through the wind I feel the wings come closer I’m crying on my knees Tired of this longest life The crowd surrounding me Everyone unknown by mist My eyes can’t see Antediluvian All lives descend from the third mortal Eternal minds are still alive I feel the life in me I See the future of my land I feel the life in me I see the rise of highest man Outside the speed of life in the moonless sky it shines Inside the speed of death the firelight will cease in time Antediluvian Antediluvian Antediluvian All lives descend from the third mortal Eternal minds are still alive I feel the life in me I See the future of my land I feel the life in me I see the rise of highest man Antediluvian Antediluvian Antediluvian

Safety in Slumber: Step inside the fire and let go of your mind Have you lost all reason? Listen to the night and give in to your heavy eyes Succumb to the lullaby This peace is only in your dreams You’re blindly following like sheep Go to sleep I must open my eyes This peace is only in our dreams We’re blindly following like sheep Our world is crumbling beneath The truth is all that sets us free They hope that we will finally fall asleep Safety in slumber Open your eyes to see the light They hope that we will finally fall asleep Safety in slumber Someone wake me from this Wake me from this dream Go to sleep

I can’t believe it’s come to this As you look down from the ledge The Darkness that has gripped your heart Has made your world turn grey How could I not have seen the signs? An open hand with empty eyes You feel like there’s nothing left but to take it all away The emptiness that has consumed your soul This broken house no longer feels like home Though this may be as selfish as the path you’re walking But if you ended your life Who would guide me though the night? How could I miss the helpless cries without a voice I know that the shadow on your heart is taking over with The emptiness that has consumed your soul This broken house no longer feels like home Though this may be as selfish as the path you’re walking But if you ended your life Who would guide me though the night? Will you come to terms? Will you see the light? Will you become yourself again and leave it behind? The emptiness that has consumed your soul This broken house no longer feels like home Though this may be as selfish as the path you’re walking But if you ended your life Who would guide me though the night? Hold on Please hold on

about

I want to thank my friends and family that have followed me throughout my music career. I have been working on my second album the last three years. I have learned a lot since releasing my first album in 2014. Recording your own album takes a lot of studying, trial and error. I thoroughly enjoy it and look forward to many more. I want to thank my student Vince Thomason. I have been teaching him for five years and his guitar writing abilities are a joy to record. I can’t wait to see what he does in the future. I also want to thank Zoltan Gaspar, Aaron Armentrout, Jacob Porter, Dylan Hill, Jon Dale, Chris Colloton, Jared Sareal, Javi Martin, Alex Campbell (Seek Irony, courtesy of UDR/Warner Bros. Music), Dylan Furr and Chris Feener for either providing ideas or laying down tracks on this album. It was an honor to work with local and international musicians. Also a big thanks to Wade Ball for the Priceless Productions Key logo and Rob Harris of Rob Harris Photography for the album cover. I hope you all enjoy my album.

BJ Price Illinois

I started playing piano when I was 4 and it branched off to many other instruments over the years. My dream has been to record my own album and I started getting into recording in 2007 and was able to fulfill that dream in 2014 with my first album The Battle Begins. I hope you enjoy my albums and I look forward to releasing more. ... more
